Ways to Give
There are many ways you can make a gift to St. Paul Catholic School to show your support for the mission of Catholic education.
Annual Appeal
Gifts may be made to the Annual Appeal fund which provides monies for the current year's operations. Donations may be designated for specific or general operational needs. The Annual Appeal helps make up the difference between tuition revenues and the actual cost of an education. When you give to the Annual Appeal, every student and every teacher benefits from your contribution. Monies raised through the Annual Appeal affect all aspects of a student's life on campus, from athletic gear to science lab equipment, from field trips to computers, from songbooks and art pads to textbooks. We offer Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and credit card debits for ease in payment options.
Become a Guardian Angel - Participate in the Tuition Assistance Program
Have you ever wanted to be a Guardian Angel? Here is your chance. You can contribute the Guardian Angel Tuition Assistance Fund annually. You can give a gift into the general tuition fund or you can designate a specific student to receive your gift. You can set up a scholarship fund in memory or in honor of a loved one. Your contribution can be designated to the tuition of a student that you know like a relative, friend or grandchild. Make a positive lasting impression on the life a child and become a guardian angel. It will be one of the best decisions you ever made.
Community Partners and Rebate Programs
There are many New Bern community partners and others who offer a rebate program to St Paul Catholic School for encouraging our supporter to patronize their place of business.
Food Lion - Link your Food Lion MVP Card. Our school is listed as St Paul Education Center.
Harris Teeter - Link your Harris Teeter VIC card. Our school is listed at Saint Paul Education Center. Please do not send in milk tops as this program ended.
Target - Link your Target credit card at any store. The school's name is listed at St. Paul Education Center.
Scrip - Order gift cards and the school receives a rebate for every card you order for groceries, gas, merchandise. There are hundreds of merchants to choose from. You may send your order in with your child to be given to their teacher or drop the order off at the school office. Scrip Orders are also taken after all Masses. A sincere thank you to everyone who supports the Scrip program. Please direct any questions, comments and concerns about Scrip to the school office.
Campbell's Labels - Clip and send in the Campbell's Labels for Education.
Cell Phones - Send in old cell phones and we will recycle them into cash for the school.
General Mills Box Tops - Clip and send in General Mills Box Tops for Education and we will turn them into equipment for the school.
Printer Cartridges - Send in old printer cartridges and we will turn them into money for the school. It is best if they remain in their boxes, if possible. Feel free to send in old cartridges from your place of business.
Planned Giving
A donor may wish to designate St. Paul Catholic School as a beneficiary in their estate planning and wills. Other ways of giving include stock gifts, life insurance, appreciated securities, bequests and trusts. Contact the Development office for the language to include in your estate planning.
Employer Matching Gift
Many employers match contributions made to charitable organizations, doubling or even tripling your gift. Please ask your employer if a corporate matching gift program is in place. In most cases, there is a company form to enclose with your gift. Also, there are companies who will make a donation to our school if you complete a designated number of community service hours. Contact the human resources department at your place of business for more information.
