Beyond the Bell (BTB)

The Arts enhance our lives and connect students to history, culture, creative thinking, and the goodness and beauty of God. They nurture the imagination, intellect, and cognitive development. The arts, are integral to the kind of education, human experience, and spiritual growth that we want our students to have at Saint Paul Catholic School.

Through the Beyond the Bell (BTB) program, students are able to explore the Visual Arts – painting, drawing, crafting; Performing Arts – music, dance, theater; and Life Skills such as gardening, coding, and sewing. Each student is able to progress at their own pace with the goal of mastery.

BTB is held after school and the schedule of classes changes each quarter to allow students to continue their exploration or investigate something new and different.

Susan Timco
Sewing has continued to be a rewarding and  cost effective part of my life for over 50 years. It all began when my dear mother taught my sister and I to sew while in elementary school. We would sew dress up clothes for holidays, and family get togethers. We would also sew clothing for dolls to be given to poor children through the Good Fellows organization. I learned how to do  more intricate sewing techniques while attending Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Once married, all my children's garments were handmade. Throughout my 41 years of marriage, I continue to make my own clothes. Today, I enjoy sewing for our home and family.
