2019-2020 HaSA Nominations

It is time to nominate someone who you feel would do a great job supporting Saint Paul students, families and staff by taking on a leadership role in the school's HaSA.  (Home and School Association)  If you know that person please nominate them.  If you are that person, please nominate yourself.  Below is a list of all the HaSA positions.  Highlighted positions have vacancies that we hope to fill by the beginning of the year.

President - Vacant

Someone with good leadership and collaborative skills who wants to be integral in the success of Saint Paul Catholic School.  This position would require meeting with the school administration on a regular basis, lead board meetings once a month and also be the face of the HaSA at all school HaSA events.  3-4 Hours a week. The HaSA is represented on the school board which meets six times a year.

Volunteer Coordinator

This person needs to be well organized to help the team stay organized.  Computer skills are needed in order to enter volunteer needs into SchoolSpeak on a regular basis.  This position will also require regular phone calls to parents to help ensure all our volunteer positions are filled. 4 hours a week. 

Classroom Field Trip Coordinator - Vacancy

This person needs to be well organized and willing to get to know everyone in the school. This position is focused on helping recruit and support classroom parent coordinators, who in turn support the classroom for, special events, parties and field trips. 4 hours a week. 

Gala Committee 

This committee is part of the HaSA and is not an elected position but needs the entire school's support to ensure the success of our major fundraising event each Spring.

Vice President/Secretary

This person must be an excellent communicator.  In the absence of the president, this person will articulate the plans and goals of the HaSA.  The primary duty of this position is to keep families informed of upcoming opportunities and events at Saint Paul Catholic School. The secondary duty is to represent the HaSA in the absence of the president. 2-3 Hours a week.

Treasurer/Fundraising Coordinator

This person needs to be someone who is used to keeping their checkbook balanced.  This person will help guide the HaSA to successful fundraising events by ensuring everyone is aware of the goal and keeping track of progress towards each event's goal.

Graduation and Catholic Schools Committee 

This person needs to be well organized and know how to throw a party.  Primary responsibility will involve planning and coordinating Catholic Schools week and coordinating and planning the graduation events for the 8th grade class.

Raffle and Chili Cook Off Committee

This committee is part of the HaSA and is not an elected position but needs the entire school's support to ensure the success of our major fundraising event each Fall.
