Many people from around the country have expressed a desire to help our families get back on their feet. Please consider a monetary donation to help Saint Paul families, here is why.
We can use a monetary donation to meet nearly any need one of our families has, it is flexible and efficient. Many of our families have flooded residences and many others have been displaced and or out of work for an extended period of time. Collecting items for disbursal takes a lot of effort and must then be delivered and distributed to the right family. Most all of our families are either putting a household back together or helping family and friends in the community do the same. Needs are also changing day to day. One day a blow up mattresses and sheets might be the greatest need. The next day towels and dishware. If we collect items people have already received it may allow generosity to actually take away from the rebuilding efforts as we then to try to connect the right family with the right item.
How will we track your generosity. Every dollar that is collected on PayPal will go to our families. We are a 501C3 so every donation is also tax deductible. If you make a donation we will have your email address and will make a financial accounting of money collected and how it was dispersed. You will also receive a letter of donation for donations $100 or more. For donations less than $100 we hope families will make a copy of the receipt sent to them and handle the tax deduction themselves to alleviate the workload on an already overtaxed organization.
You can also note on your donation through PayPal how you would like to see your donation spent. Household items, direct support to families, tuition reduction etc. If you note how you want your donation disbursed we will ensure the funds are earmarked as you desire. Helping Saint Paul and our families recover helps every family at Saint Paul.

Please consider a monetary donation to allow your generosity to move as efficiently as possible to the family that needs it the most. Please read the rationale above if you are not sure this is the right way to help our families. Thank you!
Go to this page and help our Saint Paul family connect with the right contractor or agency to get assistance. Many families are done gutting their home or have a tarp on the roof. Now getting in touch with a reputable contractor or getting extra assistance will go a long way in the rebuilding process.
