Happy Fall Y’all! I’m back again with a look at life here at SPCS for the upcoming week. Let's take a look at what our SPCS family has to look forward to.

Looking Forward:
-Let’s CELEBRATE! -
This week we will be learning about different celebrations that happen towards the end of October including: All Saints Day, All Souls Day, and Dia de los Muertos. Your student will have the opportunity to participate in a ton of fun activities such as competitions, a walking art exhibit, and more. We will also be decorating the halls with some of the awesome artwork our students have been working on for this week.

-And the AWARD goes to… - The Awards Assembly for this quarter will be held after Mass on Wednesday the 28th. Please join us at 9am for Mass, and the Awards Assembly in the sanctuary of the church, where we can all safely practice social distancing. We can't wait to see you there!

-Service Project DUE - The due date for the service project is right around the corner. Please ensure that your student comes to school on Thursday, the 29th, with their filled in screen time table, as well as the notes, and drawings that they have made in their sacrificed time.

Virtue Focus - As we continue focusing on our primary virtue of Temperance (Self-Control), we will also be taking a closer look at Moderation. Please continue to encourage your student to engage in the service project, and remind them that it is also a competition that will lead to a prize. Here is a quick video from Fr. Mike Schmidt about why the subject of this month's focus is so important!

Service Hour Opportunity - Mrs. Sabatella is looking for 5th-8th graders to assist her in the making of large art posters for the Christmas Bazaar on November 2nd, and the 9th at 3pm. Pick up time is 3:55pm at the latest. Please let either myself or Mrs. Sabatella know if your student would like to participate. Sign up coming to School Speak soon!

May the week ahead bring a song to your heart, a smile to your face, peace to your soul, and joy immeasurable!

¡No podemos esperar a verte allí!
